Applicants are invited to apply for the TotalEnergies Learnership 2026 (Matric Required)
The Operations Learnership Programme is structured to provide both theoretical understanding and practical workplace experience. As a learner, you will be exposed to real operational processes and systems, allowing you to understand how a professional operations environment functions on a daily basis.
You will work alongside experienced team members and supervisors who will guide and support your development throughout the programme. This exposure will help you build a strong foundation in operations while developing essential workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management.
The programme is ideal for individuals who are serious about building a long-term career and want to gain relevant industry experience that improves their employability.
During the programme, you will gain valuable workplace experience that will prepare you for future employment opportunities. You will develop practical skills that are directly applicable in operations, logistics, and supply chain environments.
You will also gain exposure to structured workflows, operational systems, and industry standards, giving you insight into how organisations manage efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.
This learnership will help you build confidence in a professional setting, improve your ability to work in a team, and strengthen your understanding of workplace expectations and responsibilities.
As part of the learnership, you will participate in a variety of operational activities and tasks. These responsibilities are designed to give you hands-on experience while supporting the daily functioning of the operations team.
You will assist with routine operational tasks and support team members in completing their duties efficiently. You will be required to follow company procedures, adhere to safety standards, and ensure that all work is completed accurately and on time.
You will also learn how to use workplace systems and tools, support workflow processes, and contribute to maintaining productivity within the team. Collaboration will be an important part of your role, as you will work closely with colleagues and supervisors.
In addition, you will be expected to attend all training sessions and actively participate in development activities to ensure successful completion of the programme.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have completed Grade 12 (Matric). You must also be currently unemployed and available to commit to the full 12-month duration of the learnership programme.
Candidates who have a qualification or are currently studying towards a qualification in operations, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field will have an added advantage. However, this is not a strict requirement, and candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates should demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with others. Basic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office, is important for completing tasks and learning workplace systems.
You should have strong attention to detail, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Being reliable, organised, and able to work within a team environment will be essential for success in this programme.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to a structured work environment are key qualities that will help you grow throughout the learnership.
This opportunity is ideal for young individuals who have recently completed Matric and are looking to gain practical work experience. It is also suitable for candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in operations, logistics, or supply chain but need real-world exposure to get started.
If you are eager to learn, committed to personal development, and ready to take your first step into the working world, this learnership is designed for you.
In today’s competitive job market, having practical experience is just as important as having qualifications. This learnership provides you with the opportunity to gain both knowledge and experience, making you more employable in the future.
It allows you to build a solid foundation for your career while developing the skills and confidence needed to succeed in a professional environment.
Applicants should submit an updated CV along with certified copies of their ID and Matric certificate. Any additional qualifications should also be included if available.
Ensure that all documents are submitted correctly, as incomplete applications may not be considered.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. It is important to ensure that all details provided are accurate and up to date.
