Job Overview

Key Responsibilities For Warehouse Picker And Packer Job Opportunity

Order Picking and Accuracy

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications
• Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions to ensure correct order fulfilment
• Minimise picking errors by following established procedures
• Meet daily picking targets while maintaining high accuracy levels

Packing and Dispatch Preparation

• Pack goods securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit
• Label packages correctly and ensure all documentation is complete
• Prepare orders for dispatch according to company standards and timelines
• Ensure all orders are ready for collection or delivery as scheduled

Receiving and Inspection of Goods

• Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantities against delivery notes
• Unpack goods carefully and inspect for damage or discrepancies
• Report any shortages, damages, or quality issues to supervisors immediately
• Assist in ensuring all incoming stock is processed efficiently

Stock Organisation and Warehouse Management

• Accurately shelve and store products in designated locations
• Ensure stock is organised in a logical and accessible manner

Inventory Control Support

• Participate in regular stock counts and inventory checks

Minimum Requirements

Education

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent (NQF Level 4)

Experience

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, picking, or packing roles is preferred

• Entry-level candidates with strong work ethic may also be considered
