Learners will receive:

• Theoretical training, and

• On-the-Job Training (OJT) at Necsa facilities, gaining practical exposure essential for workplace readiness.

This learnership equips participants with the technical knowledge and hands-on experience needed to enter the radiation protection field with confidence.

Requirements For Necsa Radiation Protection Learnerships 2026

Applicants must:

• Be South African citizens aged 18–35

• Have Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Physical Science

• Upload the following documents on the electronic application portal:

  • Personal and qualification details

  • Certified copy of RSA ID

  • Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate

  • Proof of residence

Note: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an aptitude assessment test as part of the selection process.
