About the Auto Industrial Group Maintenance Apprentice Programme

The apprenticeship combines practical workplace learning with structured technical development.

What You Will Do

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
  • Mathematics (Pure Mathematics or Technical Mathematics)
  • Physical Science
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in at least one additional South African language

Advantageous Qualifications

The following will strengthen your application:

  • Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD)
  • Engineering Drawing
  • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering

While an Engineering Diploma is beneficial, it is not a minimum requirement.
