What You Will Do
Successful candidates will assist with maintaining and improving manufacturing equipment and plant infrastructure while ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Respond to machine breakdowns
- Maintain maintenance records
- Support repairs to plant utilities
- Assist with compressors, chillers and cooling systems
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Monitor electrical power consumption

- Not have participated in the YES Programme previously
Qualifications

- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Electrical Engineering qualification or
- Mechanical Engineering qualification
Experience Required

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of industrial maintenance
- Knowledge of production equipment
